Cognac Croizet "Cuvée Légion d’Honneur 1883" commemorates the achievements and vision of one of cognac’s most illustrious figures of the time: Benjamin Léon Croizet. This exclusive cognac is a careful selection of eaux-de-vie of great finesse and poise, from vineyards rebuilt using new techniques discovered during the Phylloxera crisis of the 19th Century. His cognacs were awarded Gold Medal at the Exposition Universelle of 1878, and he received the Legion d’Honneur in 1883 for his pioneering work against Phylloxera in the Cognac vineyards.

Original-Tasting-Notes:
The aromatic richness of this Cuvée is crowned by intense notes of orange confit and dried apricots mixed with vanilla. The soft spice notes reveal themselves with subtlety adding to the depth of taste. On the palate rich notes of leather marry with saffron and exotic woods, creating a lasting impression of power and elegance.
